I love Val’s classes. She makes it so easy for beginners to quickly learn yoga is not about whether or not you are flexible, but about tuning inside and working from the core, from the mind, from the lungs. She reminds each student to not focus on what the person to the left or right is doing, but focus on the chakra and the healing. After every class, I feel refreshed and energized. I also love that she makes the class relatable to the attendees by breaking down terminology, making every pose a teaching moment, and just overall speaking to us in a manner that is comfortable. I recommend her classes to everyone who is interested in yoga and even those who are discouraged because of flexibility.
